Welcome to Wheatley Farm Garden Centre

We are a family run garden nursery. As well as stocking more traditional plants, shrubs and trees we also specialise in more unusual plants such as palms, bonsai and cacti. 

With over 2 acres of plants we are proud to say that we have one of the best selection of plants in the Essex area.

We grow a wide variety of shrubs, bedding and hanging basket plants throughout the season. We also specialise in making hanging baskets of all sizes and we offer a refill service for customers own baskets.

Chickens

We’re are suppliers of Garvo chicken and duck feed. One of a few garden centres in Essex suuplying this special product. 

Plants

Our Plant Manager is on hand to give friendly help and advice on all your gardening questions. We can recommend plants which would best suit certain areas, such as sun loving plants, plants best suited for shady areas or plants best suited for hedging. Being a garden centre in Essex, we believe in helping all gardens from all around the area.

We stock a wide range of quality dog food from various manufactures.

Specialist plants

Compost & Aggregates

We have a wide range of compost in stock including Westland and John Innes.  We regularly have special offers on various products as well as multiple value deals on both our composts and Kel Kay aggregrates.  We are happy to offer a delivery service for larger quantities.
